I am in, much as Flynn would be, and I am on table 97 in 18th of 180. I feel like a bad ass. I love not-NLHE.

Awesome illustration housenuts. 2+2'er dogsballs is also in, but on the proverbial 'morphine drip'. I actually won a sat to this last night but couldn't play because of that pesky 'work' thing.

I'm chk/RzChuck. Still on 97, but my stack is shrinking. Keith, who is Keith Smart, why do you hate him, and what is your name?

Keith Smart hit the winning shot for Indiana in the 1987 national championship game, as every schoolboy knows.

I'm jason. Keith Smart is an Indiana U hoops player who scored the last second shot to beat Syracuse in the 1987 NCAA title game. I am an Orangeman fan, which leads me to hate Mr. Smart.

I crept along in a card dead kinda way to 144th.

acesover8s and bluffthis were also in, but now out. Mebbe fossilman did it the right way and saved himself some time.

Keith Smart....fading out of bounds on the baseline as time is running out, takes a 16 footer as time expires...drains it....nothing but net! I almost puked when I saw that....I am from the midwest but hated IU basketball....One of the sickiest things I have ever seen.

I'm embarrassed that I don't know this. I'll offer up (lamely) that I was only 6 at the time, but this is clearly a gap in my sports trivia.

avg stack, 47 of 100 at the "dinner" break. Not a good hour for this guy, but then again, not a bad hour in that I am still in it.

We did pledge to a life of sobriety, however, I am shunning this one rule. A little rum never hurt anyone, right? right?

As long as you know who hit the winning shot for Carolina in 82, you're not completely beyond redemption.

well, that was rough. First, I'm drawing to several nut lows, several nut highs - hit my nut flush, but it pairs the board and a guy who CCPFed with Q235 (super fishy) raises my river because he has 33355. Crippled to 6K or so. Then I get a sweet double opp when I am 3 bet AI by like 9QQK (also fishy) which splits my made str8/low with A345 because he flushes the river. Then I make a miracle hand when UTG (well, AJ35, but the miracle part is that this is a triple up+) Then the very next hand, I call and see a flop with like QJ98 or somthing like that. Flop is checked, I make a J-hi flush on the turn, but get 3-bet, by, yes the nut flush. Down to 4K. 5 way limped pot in the SB with 235T. I flop top two (amazingly) should have put it in there, but it gets checked around, I put it in on the turn, and a guy with a 34 low beats my 35 low, and he rivers a str8 to beat my top two. Very frustrating. Also dissappointing.

Now I remember why I stopped playing O/8: just reading about a hand gives me a headache.

watching the ft now . . . dirtytowel was in my satellite tourney last night. I have a note on him - 'good'. At least I am a good judge of talent /images/graemlins/blush.gif /images/graemlins/shocked.gif /images/graemlins/smile.gif

i started watching the FT when it was down to 3. i immediately decided to cheer for dirtytowel because he had a pick of Towelie from south park so I could relate to him.

He was the short stack when I started watching but now he's HU with about 35% of the chips.

looks like they just made a deal
