Of course this is the correct answer.

as chunky as possible, and even then I add mixed nuts on a sandwich.

Chunky of course, but also quite partial to the whipped variety.

My dog likes smooth.

I like smooth, but it has to be Jif, peter pan tastes like ass

gmrankin

you have to get the chunky natural stuff, with the oil at the top... only way to go.

Where is the crunchy option. It's really tiny chunks, and it's amazing.

I actually like low fat chunky, less oily and I actually like the texture a lot better

MINETZ

Everyone goes through an extended chunky phase. But, smooth is better.

Chunky. I have also grown to prefer pulp in OJ. BTW if you live in California, your OJ probably sucks.

For making a PB&J sandwich, this

is by far the best.

For a regular PB sandwich, crunchy.

natural organic peanut butter is the stone cold nutz

All natural PB rocks. When the ingredients are like: peanuts, salt -and that's it. That crunchy, chunky ass peanut butter is F'n sweet.

if it has added salt, it cant be natural. you silly taco.

I guess I use the term "all natural" loosely. I mean without all the tons of additives. Just one additive: salt. Mmmmm. Good.

You are all peanut butter n00bs.

edit - 'cept gmrankin, sublime, 2tacos.

I like the version w/o honey, along with almond butter, and sunflower butter. Sunflower butter is sweeter than most, and almond butter is [censored] ridiculously good. Ridiculously. Try it.

A pic of my pantry tells the story. I love the stuff, and sometimes live off of it.

(The kroger I go to is usually out, so I stock up when I can, plus I am weirdo.)

Once you try the Honey Roasted, you'll never go back (and you'll put on 30 pounds in a week, because you won't be able to set the stuff down).

I'm a real f'ing slob, I use Peanut butter ice cream on my sandwhiches with strawberry syrup. Not exactly nutritious or natural but makes for the best PB&J ever.

You're the noob (http://www.pbloco.com/). PB Loco is great, even if most of their flavours might be described as novelties. I agree that other nut/seed butters are delicious. Almond, cashew, sunflower seed, macadamia, etc.

We don't get smuckers in Canada so I usually go with Kraft or Skippy. Squirrel (and then Skippy the Squirrel) used to be the clear winner, but they changed the recipe about 1-1.5 years ago.

The sage of OOT is correct again.

My return to smooth started about the tenth time I got a razor-sharp bit of 'chunk' in my gums.

And by the way:

Pwns peanut butter.

I noticed a couple weeks ago that Skippy had some new natural, no-stir necessary, peanut butter in the market.

Has anybody tried it?

i saw some almond butter today. it was $14 for a jar of it at a regular grocer. wtf?

i don't mind the natural stuff but it needs to be sweeter. until then it's good old saturated fat for me.

panera bread's pb&j on country bread is fantastic.

This poll is worthless. It obviously depends on what you're putting the peanut butter on. This is the only correct answer. Anyone who prefers either chunky or smooth on absolutely everything has no taste in peanut butter.

Nelson

You should be able to find quality almond butter for $8-10/jar. I swear to [censored] - you won't be able to go back to peanut butter after almond butter.
