View Full Version : Movie Quote Trivia

09-14-2005, 12:12 PM
Name the movies from which the following quotes were derived. Winner gets an "atta boy". In tougher cases, it will not be a quote, rather a series of words within a quote. Hint: They are all from comedies within the last 25 years.

"...penchant for buggery"

"who give a sh*t, it was gone"

"We'd like to send out a mailer"

"...biggest bag-over-the-head kick-in-the-face, God D*mnit!"

"She must work out."

"I'm gonna go introduce Mr. Thick D*ck to Mr. Urinal."

"Bye-bye heroes!"

"Milk was a bad choice!"

"You think KFC is open?"

"No thank you, I don't wear them."

OK, have at it. Good luck. I think these are fairly easy, but in order to get all 10 you have to span a few decades.

EDIT: "Choice" for "Idea". This was necessary b/c it totally changes the context.

The fact that you put "Milk was a bad idea" instead of the correct "Milk was a bad choice!" makes me think this thread should be deleted.

We'd like to send out a mailer"

"...biggest bag-over-the-head kick-in-the-face, God D*mnit!"

"She must work out." *

"I'm gonna go introduce Mr. Thick D*ck to Mr. Urinal."

"Bye-bye heroes!" *

"You think KFC is open?" *

The ones with the * next to them, I'm pretty sure I know, but I can't come up with them.

"No thank you, I don't wear them" is Frank Drebin's response to "How about a nightcap?" in The Naked Gun!

God d*mnit! That's two I've messed up. Good catch.

09-14-2005, 02:25 PM
OK, looks like 8 of 10 have been accounted for.

The only two that I haven't seen answered are:

"Bye bye heroes!"

and

"I'm gonna go introduce Mr. Thick D*ck to Mr. Urinal"

Hints: The former quote was from a movie that came out about 2 years ago or less. The latter from 1988.

Nice hand.

Follow-up:

Which actor or actress spoke each line. Also, what was their character name in the movie, if applicable?

Haven't seen it, but I'll guess "The Incredibles", and I'm guessing Jason Lee said it.

No, think real person, not animated.

"Bye Bye Heroes" is from Starsky & Hutch, spoken by Vince Vaughn's character, as he's standing on his yacht, pulling away from the dock.

"Mr. Thick D*ck to Mr. Urinal" is from Great Outdoors, spoken by Dan Aykroyd's character, Roman.
