I have only played in a few NL Tournaments but this hand made me scratch my head.
This was very early in a STT and I don't know if I made a mistake, please take a look and tell me if I was too weak preflop or was this just a suckout.

You played it fine. Bad beat.

You played it fine. What's the problem? You got your money in as a big favorite.

If I wasn't so charitable, I'd say this was a bad beat story...

Assuming "MP2 bets t225, MP2 calls t565" means "MP2 bets t225, Hero is all in for t565", you played fine.

That was not my intention, and I did tell you in the title that results were included. I thought maybe I should have bet a larger amount preflop, apparently I did ok. Thanks for your input.

I think you raised the smallest amount you could get away with preflop and it be okay.

Anything smaller would be bad. You could raise to a bit more and still be fine.

Your raise preflop is a little small, but this is a bad beat post; don't do that.

There's 75 in the pot, plus your call of 30, so you should raise to 130 or so.

According to the famous How to Beat the $10+1 at Party (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=602767&page=&view=&sb =5&o=) post you played it textbook.

You could raise to 120 preflop but that's semantics, this is the situation you want, someone calling you with a weaker ace then putting his stack in on the flop. You played it perfectly, seriously.
