Dual Monitor Setup with 2001FP and Laptop

Hi, I was curious about a dual monitor setup with my dell 2001fp and laptop (which I'll be getting within the next 2 weeks).

If I were to buy the Dell Inspiron 6000 with the 1920x 1200 resolution, what would be the best way to set it up as a second monitor with my existing 2001FP? Will just plugging the 2001FP into the VGA port of the laptop work?

Anybody else have their setup with a laptop and another monitor? Thx

I just bought a laptop and hooked up my other monitor with no problem. If you need any help just PM me.

--and yes just plugging in the monitor plus a few tweaks in the video card settings and you're done.
