Villian is 45/17 over a small sample. I was inspired by SThiefs turn check raises. What can I say. Anyone bet/fold the river?

That should be a very common line, and no, don't bet /fold the river.

if he bets he can safely fold to a raise. he's shown a lot of strength on a scary board and against most people it's an easy fold.

that said, he's clearly a bigger underdog if he check-calls than if he bets out, since all smaller pairs check behind.

By checking he induces bluffs from hands that wont call a bet, and aggressive players will sometimes think everyone is FOS and bluff raise this kind of card.
