Question on partypoker .5/1 versus 1/2 (LC)

I've been playing the partypoker .5/1.00 6max tables, and I find that I generally only last 30 minutes at a table before it breaks up. Furthermore, players are popping in and out every 5 minutes even when it's not about to break up.

The end result is I end up with little in the way of reads on many opponents much of the time, as the average player has only been at the table for 10 minutes.

Is it like this at the 1/2 6max tables?

I'd say that is my typical experience. My session is normally 3 tables for an hour. On average, I probably play 8-10 different tables a night over that session.

IMO, 20 hands is enough to have a very general read of someone.

I agree. The problem is, 20 hands is about how long the average player lasts at the table!
