Bubble Master... help?

In playing 11$ sng's on stars, ive been getting 4th A LOT like 75% of the time, I have no problem making it to the last 4, but im usually really short stacked when i arrive, any help as to how to play better with a short stack in that situation, even better how not to arrive so short stacked at all, Thanks e.
