1/2 full ring game, tons of fishies and no really aggressive people. I think capping is standard with this many people with such a speculative hand on the button. I'm doing this with JTs and QJs I think. Is anyone just calling here?

Capping is totally standard preflop. I think I'd just call the flop bet and try to knock people out on the turn though.

Am I really getting people out on the turn when they're getting odds for a gutshot with a coldcall?

Nope, but you will fold overcards. This is one of those hands where your equity can change drastically on the turn. And raising the flop gives everyone odds to chase pretty much anything. Even fish don't like to call 2 big bets cold.

Edit: Actually calling the flop bet would likely make the pot 2BB smaller which may give gutshots incorrect odds to call 2BB.
