Not sure what to think of this.

Was playing at Pacific Poker (http://www.pacificpoker.com) in a Sit and Go.

Began with 10 people and now we were heads up. I had an approx 10:1 chip lead.

Had $9100 to his $900.

Was holding K /images/graemlins/diamond.gif - J /images/graemlins/diamond.gif and the flop came A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif- Q /images/graemlins/diamond.gif - x.

I didn't want to scare him away and checked.

The next card was 10 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif.

Didn't want to scare him away so checked.

It didn't matter as he folded anyway!

Does it count as a royal flush if I didn't get to flip the cards?

If you don't get to flip your cards, it's commonly known as a royal tomato. It's only when you jump out of your chair, run around the table 10 times screaming at the top of your lungs while you show everyone your hand that it becomes a royal flush. (Oh, and it's good to do this as soon as you make the royal tomato even while the hand is still going on)

Is this an attempt at a retorical (sp?) question? i.e. if a tree falls in the woods but noones around does it make a sound? How about this if I'm dealt pocket aces but never look at them did I really have pocket aces? Or even better if I kill a stripper that nobody cares about did I realy kills her? Think about it.
