I'm just wondering for those of you who play mostly Sit N Gos for profit whether the profits are generally better playing 2 or 3 table tourneys where the profits are higher, but a lower % of positions pay out or single table tourneys where the payouts are lower, but 33% of the positions pay.

Also, I've been steering clear of the Turbos since they devolve too quickly for my taste into a case of push or fold. Am I right in avoiding them, or should I look at them differently?

You should look at the hourly rate.

The push/fold may not be the highest ROI, but they could well earn you more dollars in a day.

I never play turbos. Too much luck factor.

I love Turbo's with timed levels. I find that I don't have to post much in blinds during the early levels, when I am playing very tight, which leaves me with plenty for the push/fold stage. There is a lot of luck involved, so it can be very streaky.
And I get a good hourly rate.
