Restaurant/bar in Hollywood, I'm there for a friend's birthday.

I have four drinks in me, which, due to my asian half, have rendered me pleasantly wasted. I am hitting on above friend's highly attractive friend, because I am very smooth with the ladies when I have 3+ drinks in me.

We hit it off good. I get her number, and there is even some oscular linkage (read: we made out).

Here is the problem: she lives 70 minutes away.

Is this worth it? I am very physically attracted to her, but to be honest at this point she has little else going for her (not because she’s lame, but because I just don’t know)

Worth the effort? Should I call? And if I do call, what should my plan be, since it’s hard to set up something casual when I have to drive 60 miles to see her?

Depends on your intentions. If you're looking for someone to "get to know" then driving to her place all the time would be a pain. But if you're just looking to get laid I'd say it's worth atleast going once. If you already made out at the bar then she's probably a whore and you'll get lucky the first night.

i'd say it's the exact opposite. if you just want to bang her, it might not be worth the trip because there are plenty of girls to just bang (unless she's really really hot). however if you want a real relationship, then 60 miles is nothing. maybe i'm just biased because i'm trying to deal with 1000+ miles /images/graemlins/wink.gif

What if I don't call her, and I bump into her in a few months through this friend. Won't the fact that I didn't call basically ruin my chances?

In SoCal, it can easily take 70 minutes to drive 60 miles -- even 45 miles in crappy traffic.

Anyway, if you live in Hollywood and she's in like Irvine or Rancho or whatever, I'd call her, and make plans to meet up. Maybe she's willing to come to you -- clearly if she made out with you she's bangable if you play your cards right. If she wants you to come to her, make sure she lives alone or with roommates who don't mind your presence. Then ask how big her bed is. Drop hints you're not driving all the way out there for a game of Scrabble and some coffee. If she's down, then I see no harm in driving 70 minutes to have sex with a hot chick. You don't have to make a habit of it. If she wants to keep seeing you, make her drive to you.

EDIT: Also, when you make plans, make them for after 9pm. Tell her it's because traffic will be bad at rush hour and you can't leave until 8:00 or so. Ask about a cool bar in her neighborhood. Drive over there, take her to the bar, get her liquored up, kiss her before you get 100 steps outside the bar, then bring her back home with her panties moist. Done deal.

Also to those who ridicule my speeding abilities, this is LA, and this is drivign from the 10 to the 405. Possibly the worst commute ever, regardless of the time.
