I didn't see a buyin listed. At a low buyin, it's totally fine, as people will limp in EP and call off a lot of chips with a wide range of hands. At a higher buyin, I'd be a lot more suspicious of a big pair.

I'd guess this is a smaller buyin, because a good opponent limping in EP with a monster will take his opportunity to reraise and hopefully get your stack in the middle after your showing of strength.

By the way, the idea of limp-calling a ton of chips is called the reverse gap concept (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=2864841&page=&view=&s b=5&o=&vc=1). As stupid as it sounds, I think it may actually be pretty important in low level SNGs.

And just so curtains doesn't get pissy with me again /images/graemlins/tongue.gif Bones found out that Irie discussed this (http://archiveserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=1254576&page=&view=&s b=5&o=&vc=1) quite a while back.
