Everyone has these crazy add ons that let you talk while you're away, record past conversations, and I'm sure a host of other fun stuff to entertain me while I'm bored. Which is the best and what does it do?

get something that lets you have tabbed IMs. I use DeadAIM but there are probably other ways to do it.

I'm a big fan of Trillian. The interface is nice, it has tabbed browsing and can interface with other services like IRC, Yahoo! and MSN. Plus the emoticons are really cute.

Btw, it would be cool if there was a place to put our aim screen names in our 2+2 profiles.. *hint hint*

Hmmm, so Dead AIM or Trillian? Any other input? This is a boring thread huh?

DeadAIM looks nice...someone please tell me I don't have to actually pay for it.

Gaim is far superior to trillian.

Haha, it's just that I'm so lazy and don't want to go through the process.

Last year three of my buddies all downloaded Deadaim, and in about a week three of my friends had to partition their harddrives, sht was poison.

My cousin last week mentions he get deadaim, I tell him he's gonna regret it. He calls me last night complaining how he needs an install disk.

Apparently it works fine for some though. Most kids use AIM+ from what I've seen at school.

Don't ask me though. I still have AIM 95 because I hate the new aim with about 10 passions.

Hmmm, that's kind of worrying. I was thinking about spending the $5 but I don't want it to destroy my computer.
