Table is 5 handed I've got 1700 in chips the UTG has 800 left but has seemingly played almost every hand

Hero is MP with A /images/graemlins/heart.gifT /images/graemlins/club.gif

UTG calls, Hero raises to 500, 3 folds, UTG goes all in for 1075. Call or fold? Or was the original raise a mistake?

its an autocall with that many chips in the pot.

however, you've left out some important stuff with respect to the rest of the hand.

what were the other players stack sizes like? what were the blinds?

Blinds were 100-200
2 others had around 2000+ and one had about the same as me, abit more though.

this is important.

just push all your chips in on your first action. blinds are 1/2, utg caller, 500 chips in the pot, any other raise pot commits you anyway and has less fold equity (which is why the "10xBB" rule makes sense), so, if everyone folds, you can add 500 chips to your stack with no showdown. this is ideal.

pooooosh!
