From which group generally do better poker players hail from?

Great poker players appear to be Liberals, but in reality they paly like Conservatives.

only because conservatives tend to be from the camp that think gambling is wrong, and you get a lot less of them playing...

the poker player population is very conservative leaning.

Liberals would probably find it unfair that some players would be better then others. They would probably like to see the better player fold the nuts periodically just to give some chump a better chance- after all he has every right to win also doesn't he? He shouldn't have to actually work at it to become prosperous now should he?

The largest group of those that have any political beliefs are probably libertarians of right-wing bent, or vice-versa.


Words like "conservative" and "liberal" are problematic these days because they mean different factions of a power structure dedicated to the ongoing concentration of corporate and government power. They disagree slightly over the pace of the concentration (conservatives want it unimpeded), and slightly more over the constituencies whom government should serve.
