If both players play optimal strategy, then 100% of games finish in cats games. With two random opponents(crappy, experienced, expert, etc.) 18% of games are ties.

i know a set of moves that WILL win if the other player makes certian moves, and i can always make a cat's game if i go 2nd. y mess with a good thing.

I loved it when the Tunica Grand set up one of those machines where you play tic-tac-toe vs a chicken. Beat the chicken, win $5000. Everyone gets one free shot at him (players card required). The chicken takes a dive every 5000 games, on average.

What did I love about it? All the regulars in the poker room, griping about how they make the game tougher to beat by letting the chicken go first. When advised that they would still have no chance if given the honor, they wanted to argue.

(I should also note that while the promo was running, the chicken took a dive twice--but only lost one of those games. The other player did not have the skills necessary to capitalize.)
