opponent is 18/5/2.5 after 100 hands. havent seen him do anything particularly good or bad yet.

i couldnt see what reasonable hand checked such a drawy board twice and even if he had some sort of weakish A he has to be scared of AK/AA/KK after the 3 bet.

spew?

thanks

I dont really like it. You said it perfectly. (what kinda a reasonable hand would check the flop). If he is a thinking opponent he knows u are bluffing since you checked the flop.

If he is not thinking opponent (my guess since he minraised the turn) he probably hit 2 pair/trips and decided to slowplay the flop.

IMO what u did isint THAT bad but I would have either checked or folded to his reraise.

spewery. This really smells like a player that flopped a set and checked it on the flop. I'd guess he also could have made a set of 6's on the turn. I don't think you have any fold equity.

why you check the flop really really confuses me.

he doesn't know you have QJ and if he has AK/AA/KK, hes not folding it.

guys who are 18/5 aren't calling your preflop raise with AJ/AT. AQ is even doubtful.

thanks for the responses people.looks like verdict is spew. ameoba i cb most of the time but occasionally i check behind with a really thin draw.

he called and the river was the kinda nice looking T /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

he checks. theres 150 or so in the pot an he has about that left. what do you put him on? i think i gotta bet but how much?

thanks

I think I put him all in assuming you haven't shown down a marginal preflop hand in a pot raised by you preflop before.

after he called the turn i figured he had something big like 555/666 so i pushed and he folded unfortunately.

he said he had AQ.

thanks for the replies

Just fold to the check-minraise. I dont find that players who call raises OOP, then check flop and check-minraise turn, fold to further raises. And I dont find that when they do call that they have bad hands.

I fold, but I also probably bet the flop, cos it has all the cards that I would like to represent in it.
