Fold to the money

This morning playing a Party $10 SnG...

The cards were certainly not coming to me, I was getting
dealt utter garbage in fact they were so bad the only flops
I was involved with were my BB's that I checked into.

Anyway to cut a long story short, by mucking every hand I
got to the position of being 3rd !! (shortest stack) and
was just about to start trying to steal the blinds with
some all-ins (as my table image at this point must have been
rock like) when the two bigger stacks went against each
other all in and I ended up in 2nd place without playing
a single hand.

My first all-in resulted in my 89o walking into his aces doh !

Still I am happy with the money finish considering the
cards I was getting.....

Anyone else experienced anything like this ?
(folding everything and getting in the money ?)

I once came home as drunk as a skunk and fired up 4 SNGs. I then passed out around level 2/3, and woke up to find i'd finished 3rd and 2nd in 2 of the tourneys netting me a $12 profit overall (22s) /images/graemlins/shocked.gif I had to check the hand history to double check that i hadn't in fact finished these tournaments off, and sure enough i was being blinded off from l4 onwards. Nothing better then earning money while you sleep /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Ya had something like that happen once. Started a $10 tourny went to lunch the 2nd hand of lvl 1. Came back and the window was up saying i came in 2nd. Was a good laugh. /images/graemlins/grin.gif
