FWIW, I hate it, but I don't play the 109s so I try not to comment too much on them.

It's a question of making a -EV play now as opposed to being in a more -EV situation later. I think this is fine.

Even after your blinds, you will still have FE against the players to your left, assuming they don't gather chips in the next few hands.

I also read the blinds as 50/100; 100/200 makes me hate this a lot less. However, I think given the three stacks to your immediate left you can fold this with the entire table left to act, and find at least one, if not two blind steals following your blinds. Assuming they aren't rising in the next 3-4 hands.

i make this play depending on what i've been doing up to that point...

if i've had total crap and folded most of the tourney, i do it--- with the hope that i'll be given a bit more respect.

if i've been pushing a lot, i don't.
