Live 2/4 house game. Hero is on the button with 88 (~400). 1 middle limper (~300), hero limps on the button, BB cks. Flop is 9/8/6 rainbow. ck, ck, Hero pots it.

Turn, off suit 3, (pot ~ 32)

Hero bets 30. BB calls 30, MP ck raises to 120.

MP made a big bluff when the board paired earlier in the evening and was called by TPTK...

Hero has 350 behind, Villain has 150 left...

What is hero's action?

Easy push. He could have the straight but wtv, more likely two pair in my opinion.

i think a raise with the 8s might have been a better move preflop. if you can call with it might as well lead out with it, beacause it seems more often than not the board will be that ugly with the limped PF.

Push and don't think too hard about it.

I push here. Dont worry about straight. I think about it like losing set over set. If it happens so be it. Stacks arent deep and you have outs.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I pushed, the MP tabled 7/5 suited for the flopped str8. Glad that everyone agreed on the push.
