Anyone else but me looking forward to the new Transformers film ( directed by Michael Bay ) or the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film ( based on the original comic! )?
Both should be coming out about the same time, July 4th 2007 and both are live action.

I'm waiting for Aeon Flux myself -

Charlize Theron in skintight spandex - hell yah - only sad part is she thought the comic character was TOO revealing, so she had them modify the costume a bit...

damn...God hates me after all.

I'm 28. I owned and read the original TMNT comics. If you don't know the difference between those and the TMNT that was marketed to kids then you are naive when it comes to TMNT. The original comics were for adults ( and even said so on the front of the comic). The new film is supposed to be going back to the original roots of the original comic. It might have some potential. I'm looking forward to the result.

As for the Transformers well I grew up with them. The original Transformers Movie is pretty much a cult classic. My hopes for it are less than steller as one of the screenwriters is the one who wrote Catwoman ( one of the worst films ever )

Oh I forgot. Here's the test: If you see a comic where all the TMNT all had red headbands that's the real thing. If they have different colored headbands it's for kids. I kid you not !

Transformers were and always will be awesome.

Although this new movie could very well suck.

I knew this thread would become hijacked by mentioning an upcoming film that will actually be good.

I'm looking forward to that Narnia movie, and pretty much nothing else. Does anyone think I should read the book before the movie comes out? I have a sinking feeling about the new King Kong movie. It looks cool so far, and Peter Jackson should be on fire after LOTR, but I just don't feel like it's going to work on any level.
