Nice tat man! You must be a real rebel, or just another conformist moron. What the [censored] is so rebellious and cool about tattoos anyway? According to the Lycos 50 (a list of the most commonly used search terms) 'Tattoos' was the 7th most sought out subject in 2004 right up there with Janet Jackson, Paris Hilton, Clay Aiken, Pamela Anderson and Britney Spears. Well it looks like tattoos are keeping company with a bunch of fake-ass, no talent attention whores. How not ironic.

Have you ever wondered why the mass media is constantly throwing tattoos in your face? I have a theory on that. You see, during my college years I worked on the night shift as a correctional officer and often I was privy to the convicts' travel cards. A travel card consists of a condensed description and background of each inmate. Guess what's considered to be one of the most accurate determinants of identity. That's right, it's that permanent mark of rebellion, the tattoo. Criminals are notoriously stupid. They are also notoriously tattooed. Tattoos and stupidity go hand in hand.

Now if the powers that be can convince every potential self-styled rebel to brand themselves with these unique symbols of identification, well then we have a bunch of morons who have stripped themselves of the virtue of anonymity. It's an effective way to disarm a possible insurgent of one of his most valued weapons. Cops appreciate you voluntarily accepting the same marks of identification that ranchers apply to their livestock. Yeah buddy congratulations, you're as rebellious as a sheep. Born to be wild? More like born to be domesticated. Hell, at least the sheep struggles to avoid getting a tattoo. You might as well go to the front of the line to get your microchip implant.

Even Tony Danza advises against getting tattoos. Tony learned the hard way. His dumbass got a tattoo of R. Crumb's famous "Keep on Truckin'" image on his forearm. Who's the boss? Obviously not you, ya [censored] tattooed moron. Way to brand yourself with a 70's icon Tony. We all appreciate the opportunity to point and laugh at you. Forever. You people with tattoos of barbed wire and chinese words have no room to laugh at Tony here. Ching chang, you're not chinese bitch!

People, I'm begging you, don't lump yourselves in with the fake-ass, no talent attention whores, the stupid criminals, the mindless cattle and the Tony Danzas of the world. Don't get a tattoo.

Not tattooing yourself is the new tattooing yourself. Don't do it. Trust me, if you can't think of anything important enough to tatoo yourself with, you don't have anything worthy yet. Just wait until somebody you know dies or something...

Looks into audience at white guy with arm tattoo.

Comic: So, what kinda tattoo is that you got there?

White Kid: It's a tribal tattoo.

Comic: (trying hard to keep himself from giggling) Oh, what tribe are you from, CHAD?

Laughter

Comic: No I'm just messin with you. What's your real name?

White kid(looking down at floor, embarrassed): Blake.....

More laughter.

Also, go to page 3 of that thread to see where the OP get's pwned by mmbtone.

Yeah you matter. Funny how you gave the initial posting of that little rant a favorable response and now your slamming it since you realize that's the trendy thing to do. Go get your tribal tattoo trend boy.

For God's sake you have nothing better to do than play detective dipchit checking my profiles to try to figure out if both accounts are mine. Get a F'ing life man.

To quote the Red vs. Blue public service announcement about tattoos:
"I think that it's quite clear that you should not get a tattoo and I can sum up my point in this elegant yet simple bulleted list:
* TATTOOS ARE PERMANENT
* YOU ARE A GODDAMN IDIOT
And I'd like to prove this mathematically if I may take your current age and subtract ten years from it. Were you smart back then? Of course you weren't. You were a goddamn idiot. The fact of the matter is you're just as big of an idiot today, it's just going to take you ten more years to realize it. Now think if you had drawn a picture on your body ten years ago. Would you be happy with it today? Chances are you wouldn't be."

This is the correct answer and anyone who thinks otherwise is going to regret their tattoo. It might take 10 years, 20, 30 even, but they'll think "WTF did I have this thing permanently inked onto my body" at some point, guaranteed.

There is nothing wrong with a discreet tattoo.

But those 'tribal' things scream 'accept me' and are about as lame as it gets. Who the [censored] wants the same lame ass thing that everyone else has, design changed or not. Might as well get an L on the forehead.
