I forget, this was either a 55 or 109 turbo.

Villian has not done anything memorable.

- he didn't raise PF (less likely he has an Ace, or PP - for future reference)

- he didn't c/r the flop

...he doesn't have an overpair, 2-pair, set, or a straight. made-non-ace-flush MIGHT risk a turn card.

- he didn't lead or c/r turn

...turn hasn't given him 2-pair, set, or a straight. non-ace-flush is likely making his move here.

- he "overbet" river...in relation to your decreasing-1/2pot turn bet

straight is the only problem. a weak 68s/us is playing this hand very similarly -- except, not leading on the 3flush flop (which in the battle of the blinds, having you heavily outchipped, i think he might).

considering he has to have precisely 6-8 here (if we buy into the deductive reasoning), i look him up here. it is more likely (or just as) he sniffed a little reluctance from you in your turn lead. he could make this river bet hitting the 9, or not IMO -- especially considering his substantial chip position.
