I'm in the middle of economics class, bored out of my mind. I don't know how this got into my mind, but at least humor me by answering.

I voted long ball, and I honestly believe it, but I also honestly believe I'm wrong, and thus the problem pulling chicks.

This is not the reason you can't pull chicks. A more indepth look into your problem is in order.

Sorry, Pops. There's obviously some sort of generational gap here that you're not going to be able to cross.

Origin is an (ESPN?) commercial with Tom Glavine and Greg Maddux talking about how chicks dig the long ball while they take batting practice. Could be way off here.

Ballroom dancing. The long ball is great for your ego, but the chickys gat sore after awhile. Once they're done poppin' it's time for stoppin'.

You're giving way too much credit where none is warranted.

Ok, just for you Jake:

In baseball, especially during the MacGuire/Sosa home run display put on in 98, casual fans of the game became super enamored with the home run. Because of this, pitching and pitchers who pitched exceedingly well (such as Tom Glavine and Greg Maddox) were not paid much attention to by fans and media.

Glavine and Maddox (I think for an ESPN commercial, maybe it was Nike?) parodied this concept by filming a commercial in which they started training and taking batting practice, etc, in order to hit better. The end of the commercial shows Glavine or Maddox hitting a BP homerun and a couple of hot chicks watch approvingly. Glavine says to Maddox "Chicks dig the long ball"

The ballroom dancing thing I don't have a clue about.

BTW, thanks for allowing me to do this, you're training me for children, and I appreciate it. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

You are on a roll with the wet t-shirt pics today.

I can't imagine he meant anything more then some sort of "do women like a "stud" or the sensitive type?" or some variation of that.
