I dont usually play limit poker , more a pot limit player, but on my last trip to Vegas had to meet someone at the Monte Carlo and played the hold em game with one of the rudest players ever, he must be a legend if he is a regular there and I expect he is the reason Dynasty frequents that card room .
He was betting , raising every hand and generally abusing everybody, but was without a doubt was one of the best players you could pick to play against.
In one hand a lady in her 60s who was playing (while she was waiting for her husband), she just called this guy down with the nuts, didnt even raise for fear of abuse (i think )and he said to her " I hope you have a heart attack "
I was winning 490 dollars in this game and then called down another of his obvious bluffs when he said to me "you aint leaving with that, I am gonna roll you in the car park", which like his poker play was another bad decision. I stayed until he abused the rest of the players out of the game and when i cashed out, the card room manager apologised to me for this guys behaviour. I wondered if this guy is a regular donator to any of you guys bankroll, and how does he not get barred? I believe he is a local and maybe a waiter.

Favreau, Vaughn, the chick from Rounders, how could you say no?

You know the football coach is Vince Vaughn's dad. He was also the older guy at the $100 minimum buy-in table in Swingers.

I don't know, that Vaughn character wore pretty thin on me after only a little bit of screen time.

I've never seen him. I'm also stunned the Monte Carlo staff would allow that if your description of him is accurate.

He is definitely a known character in there , a brief description of him
late 40s maybe , chainsmoker (has one of those coughs that you would think he only has weeks to live), drinks as much budweiser as they will serve him, very abusive, 60s rocker style haircut and i believe he is a waiter, his style of play, bets and raises EVERY pot and caps any drawing hand if he can. If you do not know this guy, i strongly advise you to seek him out and put a tagging device on him as he will be a big donator to your bankroll IF you can stand the abuse and threats that you will no doubt get as you drain his money off him. /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Chainsmoking, close to 50 year-olds generally do not inspire a great deal of fear in me unless they are holding weapons. I haven't trained in nearly 2 years but odds are he would have something dislocated 5 minutes after starting [censored]. However, if he is really a big donator, he can run his mouth to his heart's content because he's probably just trying to compensate for some other personal deficiency.

Beernutz,
he must have lost 500 in this 4/8 game, but this was not the reason for his behaviour, I think he generally acts like this all the time, like I said I was not going to leave, not while he had any money left anyway /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
I was just curious to see if he was barred or not, as I am in Vegas soon for a couple of weeks and it would be nice if he could pay my hotel bill /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

When I was there in January I was playing with a guy who fits this description perfectly. He was dating one of the dealers (who wasn't exactly a nice individual either).
