Here it turned out crazychip held QTo. His bet looks very much like a continuation bet, so the trap might have been on. But by betting half the pot, he gives the flush draw the right odds to call (~3:1). In his situation I am happy take it down here and push begging for a call from somebody making a bad call on a draw. Agree/disagree?

Yeesh.

On the first one, you can probably just call the flop. No reason to raise and get yourself into trouble if you face a reraise.

On the second one... Not raising AT five-handed is criminal. Pop it to t250, if you face a lot of aggression from a non-short stack, let it go.

Third one... Yes, too tight with the A7. Either push or raise to t400, it doesn't matter, but don't fold it four handed with a nervous stack in the BB.

Fourth one -- Just open push.

i was just thinking your not really desparate for chips in any of the situations and the hands are only marginal. maybe i'm wrong.

I wanted to know what crazychip should do on the flop?

oh im sorry. i wouldn't push, were i him. i would bet something like 3/4 of the pot, make anyone drawing make a mistake but still try to get value out of a big hand.

i mean it's tough to say, when you are the first to bet on the flop, whether your opponents got a piece or not. he can bet and reevaluate the turn without pushing all of his chips in here.

Hand 1: I know you asked about crazychip's move on the flop, but did you just call a minraise with K8s? wtf!!! fold fold fold! Okay, one to crazychip's flop bet. His bet is too weak but it doesn't actually give enough actual odds to a flush draw because the flush draw is worse than 3-1 to come in on the next card. He can then make another bet on the turn offering 3-1 and it still won't be providing the needed 4-1. That doesn't mean that the flush draw isn't correct to call because of it's implied odds, but if crazychip was folding 100% of the time that a flush card comes off then his bets aren't terrible. Not that this is the best way to play his hand, mostly because while you are getting the flush draw to make a mistake calling getting only 3-1 if you're not letting him have implied odds, you could be charging him more for it. Flush draws will call on the flop if it's a pot-sized bet geting 2-1, which is a bigger mistake and more chips for crazychips. I am also high on weed right now so I may be a tiny bit verbose.

Hand 2: Good fold! You don't need the blinds, and you have a very uncomfortable stack for playing this hand UTG.

Hand 3: Same deal as hand 2, really.

Hand 4: I'd rather push here than invite action with my AK. The blinds are worth having without a fight and if you do get called then you've got a great image to steal more blinds. At these blinds though, I'm pushing a lot normally so I have to push with my good hands too. You should also be in this same kind of rhythm by this point in the tourney.
