what does it mean when an unknown player makes one of these gigantic open-raises on the first round of a sng, i dont really get the point of them, i was just in the BB with TT and a guy raises UTG for 150 (10/15 blinds) i didnt know what to do
Depends on the level. If I get AA early in a 33 I am rasing at least 100 because I want 1 caller or I want some idiot with AQ or AK to push back all-in. The last thing I want is to under raise and get seven callers. I have had people push all-in back at me with Ax or low pocket pairs.

it was a 55, and now i see the guys a 55/40, so i guess with the read a push would have been good, but ive seen people open raise to like 400 or just all in what does this mean on the first round?
This aggression will not stand, man.

I'd say most of the time it is 99-QQ or AK. I would fold TT in this spot.

It's JJ-88, or sometimes AK, really, really, really often.

i folded the TT here, mainly beacuse i was like whatever [censored] the 15 chips
what the hell is the is the point of making raises like this with those hands, i mean mostly hands you beat will fold and you pick up 25 chips, or get busted by aces or kings

they are bad players. they are not good players. they do dumb things frequently. they do smart things infrequently.
