Anyone know a link for an outs or odds chart for Omaha? There are many for hold'em, but I'm having a hard time finding one for Omaha. Can you help?

Not aware of any particularly good one online. I like the one in SS2.

For the most part, they're the same as holdem. It's just that you have the possibility of a greater number of outs than in holdem. Additionally, you need to worry about more outs if you have something like a nut straight with a lot of action on a two flush board with possible draws to higher straights. There are many more situations in omaha where you have the nuts, but are not the favorite against a single player, and especially against multiple players. In holdem, it always requires mulitple opponents except facing a higher straight draw and a flush draw from the flop onward.

Haven't seen an online chart specifically for omaha, but the ones for holdem are applicable.

Phil Hellmuth's book says you can call any pot-sized bet w/ 13 (nut) outs. You could still lose any time your opponent is ahead and shares your outs, but such a situation is uncommon.

There's a chart in SS2 that Lyle Berman did that shows you need 17 outs to beat a flopped set, not 14. You might check that out as well.

Download the file www.myfilestash.com/userfiles/wickss/poker%20odds.xls (http://www.myfilestash.com/userfiles/wickss/poker%20odds.xls)
It is an exel file I threw together. It has odds and percentages for both 45 cards and 47 cards.

Nevermind the excel file. I have converted it to a webpage. http://www.myfilestash.com/userfiles/wickss/poker%20odds.htm

Outs-odds charts are fine, but what you really want is a chart with % to win vs. hands like top set, nut str8, etc for 1 and 2 cards. I have one of these scratched out on a piece of paper, but don't really need it now that I have been playing for 2 months.

Thanks for the chart. For those who print out this chart, it is for the odds of hitting your outs on the turn. Similar odds, but slightly less, for hitting your outs in one card after the turn, on the river.

Aside from SS2, which Omaha book, if any, has the kind of charts spoken about in the reply directly above?

Actually, the whole article is excellent.

Actually I thought that the advice was very poor, except where it was copied out of context word-for-word from Ciaffone books. Saying not to play the non-nut flush and yet to raise with JT98 suited is contrary advice to say the least.
