UTG is 15/6/1.2.

Villian is so passive pre-flop and suddenly raises UTG. I really wanted to just call and fold an unfavorable pot. Instead I did this:

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/club.gif.
UTG raises, 3 folds, Hero 3-bets, 1 fold, UTG caps, Hero calls.

Flop: (9 SB) 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif, J/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (5.50 BB) 5/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 6.50 BB

If he is passive and raises all of a sudden from UTG I would put him immediately on AA KK QQ or JJ. I'm sure you are beat here PF. If I knew the opponent better in that specific 6-max game I might fold even AKo.

This seems all right to me.

A 6-percent PFR is pretty passive for 6-max, but AA/KK is a little less than 1 percent, so I think you should be in okay shape preflop against Villain's range.

Things do start looking a little bleaker once Villain caps, I'll admit.

How many hands are we talking about?

A 6% PFR includes a wider range of hands than just AA-JJ. Admittedly, I'd be thinking AA when he caps it, QQ at the worst, but if this is a small sample size then you can't really say.

If you have a decent (at least 100, preferably 200+ hands) sample on villian, then I like the line you took.

this looks fine, you have outs against most of his range (except AA). You obviously didnt hit them on the flop, but pot is big so u can peel. fold the turn, you dont have odds for that big bet.

Is that 15% of the time VPIP 6 handed? Is his 6% PFR in late position, with this being the first UTG?
You did call him "so passive".......sounds like a hand he has. 6% is about 99-AA and AK,AQ&AJs. You think he'd tighten up his PFR UTG?
