i've played it once before. seems pretty popular in the midwest at least. also seems like a great game to socialize and get drunk too.

My friend had a party at his river house last weekend and had this set up. We played a tournament during the day and played it as a drinking game during the night. It was great fun.

my friends and i play all the time.. great game to play at night when nothing else to do but sit around drink some beer and play cornhole.

It seems to be just like washers. In the game washers (played frequently in the midwest) you throw 2 inch wide (or so) washers and try to get them through the hole like this game. As Patrick pointed out I'd much rather approach a male friend and challenge him to a game of washers than a game of cornhole. Now, if it was a hot female friend I'd be more than happy suggesting some cornhole action all day long.
