eyes hurting

For this first time ever my eyes have just started killing me. I play a ton of online poker and am not sure why it just started now. I have a lap top with 1280X800 res. I play long hours for extended periods of time and this has never happened before. I did a search on this topic but I couldn't exactly find answers to what I'm looking for. Basicly is there anything I can do on my computer to help this?
