How much should I be willing to pay? eBay looks like about $900. Should I go that route, or wait for a dell coupon deal?

Any clue around how often they offer a deal on it? Id rather not wait more than 2 months

well, Dell SB (http://www1.us.dell.com/content/products/features.aspx/outrageous_desktops?c=us&cs=04&l=en&s=bsd) had a Dimension 9100 w/ 2405 for about $1220 last week. if you felt like selling the computer, you would easily be able to get $500 for it.

but, that deal is gone now (up to $1,400).

I would think if you waited a month or 2, you could get a similar deal, or just the monitor.

Just got it from Dell $900 w/25% off code. I guess Id rather not wait to perhaps save $50-100 in a month or 2..... Ive been running good /images/graemlins/smile.gif

was your coupon specific for this monitor?

the 2001fp is currently discounted to $561, but I haven't been abl;e to find any coupons to get it lower

yes it was 25% off the 2405, I decided Id rather that than the 20" so my eyes will be more comfy /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Give a review when you get it; I really want to be talked into buying one of these things.

Beautiful piece of hardware, enjoy. If I was in that market I might check out the Apple LCD's, but almost positively I'd end up with Dell due to the value/price ratio.
