View Full Version : In need of the name of a rapper
I've been trying to discover the name of a rapper whose music I had heard in the 90's, to no avail. I have practically no info to go on, not even a lyric or song title, but he's got a very unique voice, and sounds almost Jamaican. He got some decent radio time if I remember, so he's not super-obscure. It's not Busta Rhymes. Any ideas?

Are you thinking of the lyrical gangsta himself, Ini Kamoze?
Please don't tell me you're looking for Snow.

These are better guesses than Chaka Demus and Pliers
Pras and Wyclef Jean are two other possiblites.

Not Kamoze, not Wyclef, not Chaka Demus, not Jeru, and um, not Bushwick Bill. Good suggestions, thanks. I actually surfed for Snow, but found no samples. This guy's voice is loud and energetic, and if I remember right, the music is dance-worthy beat-wise. Very weird, rough voice, not like someo of these examples, which are softer. Thanks
If I am looking for snow, I whole-heartedly apologize for whatever offense I cause.
Snow sang Informer. I think he was a white boy.

I ran into snow the other day at fez boutique (sp?) in Toronto hanging out with his "boys". He looked like a bigtime queer and his "crew" looked almost as lame as him. He was also talking to some pretty ugly chicks in a bar full of beutiful women.
