Hi,

I'm trying to access many foreign sites but it seems some kind of security are bloccking it, some times I get this German message:

error 403: Forbidden!

How can I bypass it?? My internet settings are already set to lowest security.

403 error is usually an access rights violation, essentially this is a webpage that requires you to be the member of a certain domain, have a certain user ID, etc...since you don't have the right access rights you can't view the page.

(At least I think that's correct)

A lot of times the site owners have something screwed up on their part that isn't allowing the public to view the site. Often this happens when the wrong IP address for the site is linked to the domain name.

You'll get a HTTP 403 error if you try to access a resourse which has an IP or domain name restriction in place (e.g. you must not be a member of the www.spammer.com (http://www.spammer.com) domain) or if you try and access a file/directory where the directory or file permissions are set to not allow at least read access.

You'll get an HTTP 401 and your browser will prompt you to authenticate with a username and password if you remove anonymous access from a resource.

while you are connected to a poker site could they, if they wanted to, "look" at everything on your computer?

i was playing at sunrise a few miinutes ago when the game appeared to freeze for a long time

but the little icons at the bottom right showed activity so i right-clicked on them and i could see bytes streaming in and out of my computer

i signed out of the site, and the activity stopped

i signed back in and rejoined the game only a card or two on and the "freeze" and the activity started again

minor panic has set in

is there a reasonable explanation for these events?

Yes. The game "appeared" to freeze but it's possible that while there were no updates going on on your screen, the program was functioning otherwise, and was still communicating with the server just as it would have if it had been operating normally.
