View Full Version : pushing after a limper ($11)

Im currently in the middle of a downswing and getting kind of frustrating. I've been busting out as a result of things like this, is this play a good idea? I've been 4tabling with massive overlap so I don't have any reads, but I haven't played a hand in at least 2 orbits, so my image should be tight.

these really depend on the player. he has an extremely short stack and is limping for over 17% of his chips. thats quite a portion. as such, i dont think hes going to be folding.. though some people play really bad. lately, since i havent played many 800 chip games, ive been seeing people limp utg for 1/5th of their stack and calling a push with stuff like KTo. its really odd to me, and im still learning to adjust to situations like that. i duno, i dont mind the shove in a 10, but i would definintely be careful with it. holla

I don't think it's a bad play as long as the limper and the BB aren't calling stations.

BTW, you seem to be hiding your player id by calling yourself Hero, however you left the game number in the HH, so anyone can request a copy of that tournament and find out your username. Not sure if you cared...
