PLO50, 3-handed

Villain has me covered, I have 55

BB is very aggro post-flop, pots it whenever checked to him. Have seen AA and KKxx raised preflop, nothing else that's been shown down.

Villain on button limps, I complete with KT94ds in the SB, BB checks.

Flop is 44K with two spades.

I check, BB pots it for $2, Villain makes it $4, and I check-reraise to $12, BB folds, Villain calls.

Turn is Q (pot is $27)

What's my action?

Well, obviously, if you put villain on A4, you bet the pot, if you put him on KK, you check fold. Next question!

This strikes me as the best way to get your opponents to fold hands that you beat, yet commit yourself against the hand that beats you.

Perhaps I wasn't specific, this went for all opponents at table, not just BB. If that makes any difference in the answers.

Anyway, I bet pot on turn, and he called. River was Q, pot is about 70, then something weird happens....Party freezes for a second, and I'm not able to slide the bar to all-in, so I am forced to minbet haha. .50 into a $70 pot. Villain pushes and I obviously call, he shows what I hoped for...A4xx and I take it down (xx were undercards, he was drawing to 3 Aces).

Yeah, it was a good thing he didn't have an Emperor or a Supreme Galaxy commander, or you would have been in trouble.

What the heck are those? Allusions to some other game?

I think you have to at this level. You are going to have the bare 4 pay you off more than you are up against KK at the 50 level

Nah, bad joke. If the villian had a four, at best he could have 3 outs. The OP made it sound like there were a bunch of potential scare cards out there.
