I ($1030) am utg+2 and limp with Th9h -

LP ($620) calls, SB ($2200) raises to $40, I call, LP calls.

Flop $130 -

8h 7h Qd -

A gorgueos flop giving me an OESFD - SB checks.

I bet $90, LP calls, SB calls?

Turn $400

The beautiful 6c

SB checks again...

How much are you betting here and why?

Do you risk checking hoping LP will bet so you can CR all in and trap SB's money?

bet 300$ because you have a good hand.

check if you hate money, you do not know LP's hand range well enough to know he'll bet majority of the time if you checked to him.

I think I pot it for $400. Hoping to induce a call or a raise from A-Q, 8-8, 7-7, 7-8 and a fold from the flush draw. I don't check and give the /images/graemlins/heart.gif that will beat me for free.

I bet $400 and both villians folded.

So I thought I might've lost value but like other posters stated I didn't want to give a higher flush draw a cheap look.

This is one of those situations where it is better to win a smallish pot than to lose a monster.
