its about time. i've worked out a pretty good system that limits splash back. u hit the side wall, it bounces of that, then the back wall. that and shooting as low as u can and not hit the bottom.

those would be sweet to use.

I went to our work office in Austin where they just had these installed and I walk into the John to see this dickhead standing about 4 ft back from the urinal taking f'ing target practice. I just turned around and laughed all the way to the other bathroom!

I heard a radio interview or read something with some engineer at a urinal company, and he said that urinals are already designed so that splashback is minimalized at the part directly in the middle, a little below center. I'm trying to dig up a link now...

EDIT: The Straight Dope (http://www.straightdope.com/columns/030509.html), naturally. I was fairly close. Not to say that it works, but at least they have been thinking about it for a while.

nah that is actually a sport in austin! you should check out the night clubs around midnight. I have actually wagered on something similar to this once.
