$30 Single Table Live Tourney
I'm sitting on about $3500 in the BB, SB is next at $4000, we are the two short stacks. Average stack is ~7000. Everyone folds to SB. Blinds are 250/500. SB Raises to $1000.

I have A/images/graemlins/spade.gif 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif

What's my move?

I pushed. Good or bad move here?

I usually like to be the first one raising the pot on a play like this. For example, if the SB had limped instead of raised, I'd push. I'd probably fold this and look for an opportunity to be first in the pot.

Perfect.

Correct unless you've got a read that says that SB only minraises here with a big pair, which is extremely unlikely.

I think she would have called and tried to trap with a big pair (I'm known to be aggressive in position). I put her on two high cards, medium strength. She probably would have pushed with a mid/small pair.
