Okay, so I'm getting into playing my roomate a lot in penny games of Texas Holdem, and he's on a six game winning streak against me. It's not the money I care about (obviously, with this low of stakes) I just hate losing. Any general tips you guys can give me for one average beginning player to use against another of the same caliber? In reading books they never give tips on Heads up play, it's always for big tables and how to work position. Thanks for any advice.

Raise with any pair and any ace preflop. Raise with suited connectors down to 89 and suited gaps down to J 9. Push bottom and middle pair hard. Raise top pair like you would 2 pair. When you play everything fast and aggressive like this, then raising flopped straits and sets will get paid off more. Raise, Raise, Raise.
