$27 turbo Stars

Did i misplay this hand?

To me folding preflop was too tight given my chip stack. I was planning on check raising on the flop. I then pushed on the turn hoping he would lay down if he missed and make sure i was not left with any difficult decesions on the river if i missed. Was this a good play or would i have been better to just set him all in on the flop?

Would it have mattered - he's not folding AA on the flop either.

By the way going for a check-raise is a bit nonsensical because he isn't folding the flop, and any bet by him is probably all-in (which you would call). As it is, I don't really like your turn line, why not just check again? May even get a free river. It was a bit donkish I think, you just saw "yes I have a pair as well as the flush/OESD draw, I bet!" didn't you, and forgot about his range of hands?
