why no flop bet?

and yes you were screwed no matter what you did in this hand (as is the case very often). your choices on the river are fold or call. i don't suggest folding. raising is not an option.

No, i think your good here most of the time. You'll see K10/KQ/KJ or something like that enough of the time. I reraise this river but thats just my humble opinion.

Im still learning how to post these HH properly lol. I checked the flop because I dont like having a strong hand first to act. On my old PT database, my aggression went UP each street, instead of down like most. Ive since worked on that. I was setting up a checkraise on flop, and it worked, sorta..

the only hand of the three you listed that is somewhat logical is KT. why would the guy 3-bet a paired flop with KQ or KJ (unless it's /images/graemlins/heart.gif/images/graemlins/heart.gif, in which case you lose to a flush)?

other likely hands (which make 3-betting the river bad):
T5, 95, K5, any two hearts that he decided to slowplay on the turn.

I call. Villain shows Ax /images/graemlins/heart.gif and I say "crap." Or he shows AT or KT and I say "HA!"

What else does he show after 3 betting the flop? AA? "HA!"

Thus far you are all wrong. His hand was not as obvious as it looks.

Hmmmmmmm....MP1 missed a pf raise w/his kings, methinks. I also think I might just call the flop 3bet and donk the turn, but I don't mind the cap.

Maybe you are right. I was just curious if I misplayed or could have gotten away from it. I'd have figured villian for /images/graemlins/heart.gif /images/graemlins/heart.gif or KK the way he bet too.

Dude turns over J /images/graemlins/club.gif Q /images/graemlins/club.gif for a straight. Is this just a microlimit maniac?
