Just search for "Pokerstove" in google.

First of all you shouldn't play 87o. But here are the odds you are asking for:
Flopping a straight 1.3% 76:1
Flopping open ended straight draw 9.8% 9:1
Flop a double belly buster straight draw .65% 152:1
Flop 8 out straight draw 10.5% 8.6:1
Flop Straight or 8 out straight draw 11.8% 7.5:1

Why don't you show us all how non-stupid you are by demonstrating how to compute the exact probability of making a straight by the river holding 78o using only pencil and paper. I'm quite sure I could do it, with considerable effort, but I don't think very many people could, and I certainly wouldn't go to the trouble of doing it very often if I had a tool that could do it for me.

play about 10,000 hands and then use that powerful computer called your brain.

There's a book about poker odds but I can't recall the author, maybe one of the posters can help you on this or look at the books/software. Don't know of any calculator though.

You've just exposed your dirty laundry of how smart you are with your reply.

Like Bruce Z, I'm smart and capable enough of calculating some odds and probabilities. But I'm not rocking my brains of re-inventing the wheel if the answers are already available. At least your reply is not as smart ass as the other guy but you came pretty close.

The Hold'em Odds Book by Mike Petriv. I haven't seen this one though.

thanks to all of those that actually wrote a helpful reply. To all you other a--holes, go f--k yourself. The reason why this is important is because there are times when i consider playing 910o on the button when there are at least 5 players in the pot. i cant win w top pair, so i need at least 2 pair, and ill get really paid off if i make a str8. just wanted to know if this play was +EV.

poker calculator is even better as it lets you put opponents on ranges of hands in holdem.

I just downloaded it and it worked fine. Do you have Java Runtime Environment on your computer?

This isn't exactly what you're looking for, but if you want to compare the odds of winning between different hands, it's probably good enough.

Try:

It's totally free and easy to use.
