I open raise in middle position with 88. I get cold-called by villian #1, and button. I get three bet by villian #2 the bb. four of us to the flop for three bets.

I view villian #1 as solid, even though he thinks he can run me over and has held the deck over me today so far. Villian #2, plays allright, but is just too aggressive.

Flop comes j 4 2 rainbow.
Preflop raiser bets. I raise for information, with the intention of getting away from my hand if it gets too ugly.
I get three bet by the villian 1. Everybody folds. action back to me, I call. We are heads up.

The turn is a 10. Villian bets, I call?
River is a 10. Villian bets, I call?

I like the raise to force the field to call 2 cold with overs.
"I get three bet by the villain 1."
Damn. I think I'd probably c/f the turn unless I thought he'd cold call me pf with A3, A4, A5, smallish PPs. But if he likes to try and outplay you, why wouldnt he 3-bet those hands? Smells like top pair to me.
