Give the Ultimate IQ test a try: IQ Test Link (http://www.highiqsociety.org/noflash/nonmembers/iqtests.htm)

I'm curious how many people score high enough to join their "club" as it is always interesting to see how weighted these tests are to ensure that people qualify and can continue the funding.

136 on the timed one, 126 on the verbal one (just on the boundary, that was a bit suspicious). Some of their culture questions in the verbal one were ver' 'hoch', mind.

For a test, I did half of the 'culuturally unbiased' one randomly to see what happened. I scored 96 and was told 'you do not qualify for entry to the High IQ society'. So it's not totally fixed.

I qualified for that like two years ago.

After doing that, I decided to take a *real* test to join a *real* high IQ group, www.mensa.org (http://www.mensa.org)

113 on the first one. I guess I'm an avg. Joe.

122 on the ultimate IQ test. Didn't make your club so I'll stick to poker and become a rocket scientist in my next life.

These clubs are poor form, it gives them an interest in making tests easier, much the same as exam boards and schools are doing.

FWIW I got, 163 in the Ultimate, 144 on the speed one, I did the Mensa one a few years back and got 168. Needless to say I won't joining.

That is exactly why I posted it. To prove that just about anyone can pass the test and be admitted. In the end, IQ tests and the like are not worth the time they take because they offer a scewed view of intelligence. You can have the person with the highest IQ in the world still dumb enough to put their hand on a hot iron to see if it is cold.

At the end of the test when your score is provided, there is a bar graph showing the accumulated results of all who have taken the test. You can see that only a small portion would qualify.
