not really applicable because it's a break-up song - but "mixtape" by butch walker rules.

LMAO....I guess most people here do not know what that songs entails...My buddy called me and another buddy over to his place several years ago, and we figure he wants to hang out and drink since he is getting married in a few weeks. But no, he says listen guys I asked you to come over because I want you to listen to this song I want to play at my wedding, it shows how much I love her....

Well you know the rest, we were in tears as we had no idea what was coming...so all you that have never heard it, try and get ahold of Adam Sandlers at a medium pace...

it wasn't necessarily meant to all be "sentimental" songs. a whole cd of sappy songs can be pretty tiresome. also note that i said this: "some of the songs are either related to inside jokes or specific occassions."

This thread was a big hit a few months ago. If you can dig that one up you will have all the answers you need. The most important that I can think of:

Eric Clapton- Wonderful Tonight
Lonestar- Amazed
The Righteous Brothers- Unchained Melody
