This was remarkable. I was pissed at UTG, of course, but absolutely astounded by UTG+1

Party $50 NL 6 max, five handed.

Four players saw a flop of A33. (~2 in pot).Checked to me, on the button, I bet pot. Three callers (~10 in pot). Turn comes a 3. Checked to me, I check. River comes a 3. Board is A3333.

UTG pushes all in (about $40), utg+1 FOLDS.

UTG+1 later claimed that he had "fold to any bet" checked since the turn.

1. What do you all think of UTG's push?

2. Does anybody bet here hoping to catch someone with auto-fold on or too stupid to realize it will chop?

Doing anything other than checking around here seems bush league to me. Am I just old-fashioned?

His push is fine.

He may end up losing more to the rake since it's a split-pot, but there is the chance that he splits the pot 2-way instead of 3-way by pushing all in and getting a moron to fold.

EDIT: What is bush league about unveiling the table-fish? Everyone will thank you for pushing here and getting a fold.
