i play 12 often. 30" monitor and 24" monitor off one computer. if i play 12, i know i am losing a lot of info. so i play smaller, and in reality i therefore know i am playing weak tight. however, my returns are huge.

if i play large stakes, i play 2 tables at most, and still have a nice return. but the weak tight, 12 or more tables is very very profitable.

it took time to build up. the 1st time i played on line one table was enough. adding another took time. each table added takes a period of acclimation. i can now talk on the phone and play 12. 16 no phone calls.

i play 2000 nl or higher, or the highest limit game i can find when i play 1 or 2 tables. when i play 12 i prefer nl, and the tables end up varying usually between 200nl and 600nl (generally).

12 tables is pretty close to my physical limit and it is really difficult keeping up. Maybe 12 $0.5/1 games all with a generous per hand bonus, it might make sense. However nowadays I only play around 8 or 9 tables, but I am usually playing around $5/10.

At 5/10 or higher you need to be beating the game, so you need to stop adding tables when your play starts to degrade. Playing around $1/2, most of your money is coming in bonuses, so beating the game is not so important as just getting in the hands.

If you mean the hardware set up, four flat screen in a 2x2 display using an ergotron stand, effectively gives you space for sixteen unoverlapping games.

Yeah, just get more than 1 monitor and it is a lot easier.

Search for the video of mentor, who 20 tabled .5/1 on 1 monitor.

Multitabling is really a learned skill, but the caps on what you're capable of for the maximum are somewhat genetic.

I do pretty well with 4, and I don't think I could go any higher. I get so pissed when it's my action on 3-4 tables, and all I hear is BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP. That [censored] beeping pisses me off.

LOL, turn the sound off! Once you get used to it you'll love it. Plus then you can listen to some tunes while you play. /images/graemlins/cool.gif
