Best College Fight Song?

Despite my own alma mater's badass fight song, "The Aggie War Hymn," I have to say that I think the Notre Dame fight song is the best. There's just something about it.

despite my own alma mater (Ga Tech), whose fight song it 3-4 times longer than it really needs to be (like most).. and pretty dumb /images/graemlins/grin.gif, but does talk about droppin an axe on Georgia's head /images/graemlins/tongue.gif. At least the Up w/ White and Gold does although not the real fight song. Some are super long..Va Tech's is much longer as is the whole version of Rocky Top and Fight on State (Penn State), but I digress..

My Jr. High theme is was sung to the tune of Hail to the Victors. I kinda have to like that too, which sucks because all of Michigan can basically die until I get back my 2 seconds.

My high school theme was something too, but I can't remember since I played trombone and that part was just quarter notes over and over and over and over again (in the freezing cold where we quit at halftime 'cause we were usually up by 20 and our instruments wouldn't work).

The reason I hate USC's is because they play it like every 30 seconds and it's like that damn commercial that they keep interrupting the movie with. STFU already! I'm not watching the game to hear you.

When I was a teen I thought USC was awesome because they had the hottest cheerleaders, the band played some hip tunes and their tailbacks kicked Notre Dame's ass on a regular basis. Actually, their fight song is called "Fight On", and they usually don't play it until after they score.

However; they play that f***ing "Tribute to Troy" after almost every play where they gain positive yardage on offense or any play where they don't give up a first down on defense. It really gets annoying after the 70th or 80th time.
